Gifts & Memorial Donations

Margaret Anne ìPeggyî Margosian, born August 17, 1928, joined her husband Edward R. Margosian in eternal rest on Tuesday, May 12, 2009.

They married in 1950 after dating for only three weeks and enjoyed fifty six years together. Peggy and Ed moved to Hendersonville 19 years ago after living in Cranford, New Jersey.

She was a graduate of St. Lawrence University with a degree in Nutrition Science and worked supervising food service departments of hospitals and schools. Peggy later worked in banking as a teller and then a mortgage officer, retiring prior to moving to NC.

Peggy was an energetic avid lifelong traveler, enjoying trips to Europe, Sanibel Island, Florida and the Outer Banks of North Carolina with her husband and, after his death, trips throughout the U.S. and Canada.

She leaves behind a daughter, Shelley Stack and son-in-law, Bill, of Matawan, New Jersey; two granddaughters, Samantha Corley and Chelsea Stack; and her best friend, her dog, Puggie.

Her family was fortunate to have her attend Samanthaís April wedding in NJ. Her daughter thanks Peggyís good friends, neighbors and Pastor Evans for their support.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Monday, May 18, 2009 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Pastor Charles B. Evans will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Humane Society, PO Box 706, Hendersonville, NC 28793.

My thoughts and prayers are with you...Peg and Ed were customers of mine at a previous bank that I worked at, and for seven years, they were special blessings to me...Such a wonderful couple, and when Ed passed away, she was so lonely, so just know that she's happy now that she's with him.
