Margaret peacefully passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 at Universal Health Care in Fletcher.
She was born in Knoxville, TN and moved to Miami, FL after marriage. She lived there for many years before moving to this area. Margaret owned Sunny Acres Restaurant in Etowah during the 1980’s. She loved baking cakes, playing Bingo and helping people.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Adams of Fletcher, NC; son, Ray Tipton and his wife Julie of Dunnellon, FL; son, Dana Tipton and his wife, Laurie of Youngstown, NY; sister, Peggy Gregg of Norfolk, VA: brother, Cody Grove of Knoxville, TN; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

    I am very sorry for the recent loss of your dear loved one, Mrs. Margaret. I have a brief encouraging message I would like to share with you from the Bible. The Bible can be a great source of both comfort and hope during this most difficult time in your lives. For an example, at Revelation 21:3-5 it assures us that the day is soon coming when our most loving Heavenly Father is going to wipe away the tears of sorrow from our eyes and that even pain and death will be no more. I hope after reading this it will be of some comfort to each one of you.
