Fleming, Jr. and Jeff Fleming; her only daughter Lena Julia Fleming; grandchildren Alex Fleming, John Fleming, and Elizabeth Fleming; special friends Betty Jones and Frankie Trantham with whom she loved to play cards and motherís favorite game ìDeuces Wild.î Mother also had a special cat she adored, Lulu and special friend Christine Reilly who loved to take her to lunch at Hot Dog World.
It is with great love and heavy heart that we all say farewell to our ìMother.î Mother loved her family and she never met a stranger. She was a faithful Christian who trusted in the love of God. She was an avid reader of the Bible and taught Sunday school for many years at the First Baptist Church in Hendersonville. Her daughter Lena would like to thank the Second Floor RNís Terry and Debbie and the Four Seasons Hospice staff.
ìMother is playing bridge with her favorite Aunt Gerty and Grandmother Page. She is no longer in pain which gives me a sense of relief. Like Iíve always said, ëMother, Iíll see you on the other side. Iím going to miss you so muchí.î
A private service will be held at a later date.
