She was a very joyful teacher who always smiled and laughed. She taught me to love playing the piano. When my mom was late to pick me up I got to write on her chalkboard and it was fun. Mrs. Hannan had beautiful handwriting. Tirzah Baluch 9 years old Dubai, United Arab Emirates

    Vashti Baluch says:
Mr. Ray and Family, I have only known Mrs. Hannan for a few years, but in that time I have learned SO much from her. Before I became her piano student, I wanted to go deeper into music and to find more about other composers besides just Bethoveen or Mozart etc. And then when I came to her, she showed me a new light in piano playin and she made me want to become a good piano player and to put everything that I had into it. She not only gave me music that I wanted to play and new that I liked playing, but also pushed me to my limits to show me what I could really do. I'll miss her a lot when I come back to Hendersonville and know that she won't be my piano teacher anymore. I loved her a lot and she has been the BEST piano teacher anyone could ever ask for!! God Bless, Vashti

    Vernie L. Allison says:
I'll always remember the caring, encouraging, vivacious woman, exuding the "patience of Job", especially with me while I had the privilege of having been her student. She was an incredible, lovely lady! No teacher can ever replace her. She is gone, but surely not forgotten.

    Shelley Baluch says:
Dear Ray and family, When we moved to Hendersonville from Dubai I asked my dear friend about a good piano teacher for my three girls. My friend was quick to tell me that I had the best piano teacher in Hendersonville right in my neighborhood of Crooked Creek. Peggy Hannan was the best piano teacher my children and I could ever have dreamed of . Even you told me that, Ray! When I hear my children play the piano I will remember the gift that Peggy gave my girls. But it was not just my girls that Peggy impacted! I admired Peggy so much so that I often told my children that they should begin to pray that I would be like Peggy when I turned eighty-five. I am very sad today as I have lost a very dear friend, Peggy Hannan. Affectionately, Shelley Baluch Shelley Baluch
