Martha Juanita Jackson, 76, of Hendersonville, NCdied Friday, March 27, at Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville. A native who lived most of her life in Henderson County, she was a daughter of the late William Lee and Bessie Ledbetter Fore and wife of the late Joe R. Baldwin who died in 1990. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jerry M. Baldwin, who died in 1994 and a sister, Polly Wilkie, who died in 1965. She attended Edneyville Elementary and Dana High School. After raising a family for 13 years, she worked for Belding Corticelli in Hendersonville and then Hergeth of Spartanburg, where she lived for 25 years before returning to Hendersonville. She was a member of Mud Creek Baptist Church.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband, Wallace Jackson; six children, Shirley McCall of Zirconia, Sheila Morris of Asheville, Ray Baldwin of Hendersonville, Elaine Cole of Hendersonville, NC Terry Baldwin of Hendersonville, NC and Randall Baldwin of Hendersonville, NC; two sisters, Frances Lambeth and May Culler of Thomasville, NC; three brothers, George Fore of Thomasville, NC William Fore of Greensboro, NC and Lee Fore of Chicago, IL; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held 2:00 PM Monday, March 30, at Mud Creek Baptist Church, 403 Rutledge Drive, Hendersonville. Rev. Cecil Jones and Rev. Cory Hunnicutt will officiate. Burial will follow in Mud Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM for one hour prior to the service at the church.
