Grand Mother Mattie Mae I don't know how long it has been nor how long it well be Your memories will always be a part of me As I remember you the way you were Never speaking a mean word "Lets go fishing Hubert" she would always say no matter what time of the day Always wore a dress never seeing her in pants As you loved to sew giving you hugs hoping not to get poked As you are on your way I will miss you Mattie May.
