Michael Brandon Lively, 42, of Flat Rock joined his grandfathers, Glenn M. Lively and Walter Ray Pace, in a heavenly reunion on Tuesday, September 5, 2017. He was born in Hendersonville, N.C. to Mickey and Judy Lively on April 23, 1975 and was a graduate of East Henderson High School.

Michael was a talented landscape contractor and excellent carpenter for the past 20 years. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors and fishing at his favorite fishing hole. Michael loved spending time with his family and friends. He was cared for by his devoted parents, doted on by his two older sisters and loved dearly by his children. He was rarely seen without his best four-legged friend, Magoo.  He was a member of Tuxedo First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents, Mickey and Judy Lively; children, Austin Lively and his wife Holly, Haley Lively, Chloe Lively and Lexi Bryson; sisters, Christy Brandt and her husband Jeff, Stacey Redden and her husband Art; nephew, Tucker Brandt; nieces, Bekah Brandt and Reese Redden; grandmothers, Virginia S. Pace and Frankie J. Lively; aunts, Kathy Woody, Karen Smith and many special cousins.

Michael loved his family dearly and he will be remembered for his huge heart and generosity.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
