Nellie Howard Perella, 80, of Hendersonville, NC, died Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock.

Born in Cleveland Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Clara Howard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carmen Perella; daughter, Deborah Perella; and daughter-in-law, Karen Perella.

She had resided in Lyndhurst, Ohio before moving to Hendersonville thirty years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

She is survived by her loving family, three sons, Michael Perella, Joseph Perella, and Richard Perella; a daughter-in-law, Connie Perella; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Monday, March 2, 2009 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Reverend John Salvas will officiate.
