Pamela B. Boehmer, 66, of Saluda passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011 at the Elizabeth House.

Born in Montgomery County, OH, she was the daughter of the late C. Palmer and Alma L. Boyles. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Lynn.

She was a graduate of Fairmont High School in Kettering, OH, attended Ohio State University and graduated from the University of Dayton. She retired from the Council on Aging for Henderson County where she was a case manager. A member of St. John in the Wilderness Episcopal Church, she was active in ECW, the Altar Guild, the Care Ministry and the Back Pack Ministry.

She is survived by her husband, Fred of Saluda; two stepsons, Frank Boehmer and wife, Maggie, of Grapevine, TX, and James Boehmer of Indian Lake, OH; grandsons, Ryan, Neil and Drew, all of Texas; granddaughter, Kaitlyn of Ohio; great-granddaughter, Kiley; a niece, Kathy Byerly of CA; and two nephews, Mark Fries and wife Corey of Columbus, OH, and Paul Fries and wife Lynne of College Station, TX.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, March 26, 2011 at St. John in the Wilderness. The Reverend John A. Morton and The Reverend Deacon Joyce Beschta will officiate. Burial will follow St. Johnís churchyard. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
