Pamela Jane ìPJî Hall Justus, 58, of Etowah died Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock.

Born in Brevard, NC, she was the daughter of William Hampton Hall and the late Elizabeth Ann Cannon Hall.

Mrs. Justus had lived in Henderson County since 1963 and was a West Henderson High School graduate. She was a member of New Grace Christian Church. ìPJî was a beloved wife, mother, friend, and was a strong woman who fought for life many years. She spent a number of years as a foster parent with her husband, Billy. She devoted her life to giving back to the community and helping others, even when she needed help herself. Pam will be loved and missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her father and adoptive mother, Margaret Debord Hall, ìPJî is survived by her husband, Billy Bruce Justus, Jr., daughter, Amanda Elizabeth Justus, son, Jonathan Dow Justus, sister, Nancy Peace and husband, Terry Peace of Flagler Beach, FL, and brother, Billy Hall, Jr. and wife, Wanda Hall of Etowah.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Sunday, September 23, 2012 in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverends Terry Peace and Bill Brackett will officiate. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Shuler Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Pamís name may be sent to Christian World Adoption, 37 Old Brickyard Road, Fletcher, NC 28732.

    I met Pam after she had surgery with Dr. Rosner, as well as I did, hers was worse. But I got to know her well, we talked everytime I saw her. She was a fine person, I am sorry that she got so messed up so bad with Rosner as she did. God will punish him for that one of these days. She is not suffering now. Love to her.
