Paul M. Ketchum, 92, of Hendersonville, died Thursday January 21, 2010 at Carolina Village Medical Center.
He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison in electrical engineering, class of 1934. During World War II, he served as an Officer with the US Army Air Forces (USAAF).
He had a 45-year career with the General Electric Company. He was a Professional Engineer and a member of IEEE. He was an ordained elder of the Presbyterian Church (USA), a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Hendersonville.
He is survived by his daughter, Sara Chambers and husband, William, of Charlestown, MA; two sons, David of Lincoln, CA and Timothy and wife, Eileen, also of Lincoln, CA; grandchildren, Catherine Chambers of Betterton, MD, and Douglas Chambers of Carrboro, NC. His wife of 66 years, Dorothea, and brothers, Lawrence and Ross, predeceased him.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, February 6 at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
