Rachel Marie Williams

Rachel Marie Williams, 86 of Hendersonville, died Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Transylvania Regional Hospital.

A native of Caldwell County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Edward & Beatrice Griffin. She is also preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde & Clarence Griffin; and two sisters, Clara Miller & Pauline Miller Bumgarner.

Rachel was of the Baptist faith and was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her five children, Keith Williams of Mountain Home, Pamela Williams of Penrose, Mack Williams of Houston, TX, Allen Williams and wife Debby of Woodstock, GA and Janet Guy and husband John of Marietta, GA; brother, Lloyd Griffin and wife Clarice of Lenoir; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2013 in the Kirby Memorial Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Worthington officiating.
