Ralph Donald “Don” Kauffman, 87 of Kenmure, NC passed away, March 10, 2023 at his residence.
He was born July 13, 1935 in Petersburg, PA the son of the late Ralph and Marie (Graffius) Kauffman.

Don was the owner of Easy Living in Des Moines, IA,
and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hendersonville, NC where he was active in the choir and participated in the Road to Emmaus.

He was an extremely good tennis player and was at one time the Champion Tennis player at Kenmure Country Club and was an avid gardener. He also loved his two dogs, Lila and Lexi.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Sue (Fleming) Kauffman; his children, Stephen (Hilary) Kauffman of Naples, FL and Dr. John (Muge) Kauffman of Lexington, Mass.; his grandchildren,
Shane Kauffman, Chase Kauffman, Derik Kauffman and Seray Kauffman; he is survived by his sister, Marlene
(Larry) Lyskowinski of McDough, GA. and his step-daughter, Becky Moffitt and her family of Des Moines, IA.

Memorial services are planned at a later date.

Memorial contributions in Don’s memory may be offered to Music Ministry at the First United Methodist Church of Hendersonville, NC or to the Smile Train, www.smiletrain.org

Arrangements are entrusted to Shuler Funeral Home, 125 Orr’s Camp Road, Hendersonville, NC .
