Rev. Bobby Lee Woodruff, 84, of Hendersonville, went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 17 at Pardee Hospital. A native of Barnesville, GA, he was a son of the late Peter Ponder and Ruth Sutton Woodruff. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. For 55 years, he provided pastoral care to the residents of Henderson and Polk counties as an interdenominational minister. Rev. Woodruff is survived by three children, Randy Woodruff and Jerry O’Neal, both of Hendersonville and Louise Cook of Dearing, GA;
eight grandchildren, Miranda Keith, Malorie Corhn, Jesse Woodruff, Melanie O’Neal, David O’Neal, Mario Enriquez, Alex Enriquez and Amy Riggs; six great-grandchildren, Murphy and Skyler O’Neal, Trey and Angel Enriquez and Morgan and Jake Dansby and a great-great grandchild, Jackson O’Neal. A memorial service will be held 4pm Wednesday, December 27, in the chapel of Shuler Funeral Home. The family will receive guests following the service.
