Richard Carrol ìRickî Prather, 49, of Mills River, NC, died Sunday, March 7, 2010.
Born in Orlando, FL, he was the son of Edna Mae Ringer Prather Cox of Hendersonville and the late Carrol Leslie Prather.
He resided in Chattanooga, TN before moving to Mills River 33 years ago and he was employed by Smokey Mountain Lumber.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Terra Prather and Morgan Prather and his granddaughter, Jaiden Prather, all of Hendersonville; his sisters, Sharon Moses of Chattanooga, TN and Charlotte Prather of Hendersonville; stepbrothers, Randy Cox and Gary Cox; stepfather, Charles Lee Cox of Hendersonville; nieces and nephews, Briana Prather of Hendersonville; Mandy Black of Raleigh; Emily Moses and Evan Moses, both of Chattanooga, TN; and Diane Cox and Nicholas Cox, both of Orlando, FL; and a special friend, Kelly Duncan of Asheville.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4 PM Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Hendersonville Seventh-day Adventist Family Life Center.
