Robert A. Quinn, 77, of Zirconia died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Pardee Memorial Hospital.
A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, he was the son of the late Ralph Posey and Evelyn Barnwell Quinn.
He was a graduate of Flat Rock High School and a veteran of the US Army, having served as a member of the Military Police Corps. Before retiring, he worked for the Olin Corporation as a machinist.
He was loved and will be greatly missed by his wife, Betty W. Quinn; children, Mark A. Quinn (Diedra), Matthew T. Quinn (Joy), Michael C. Quinn, and Angela L. LaFalce (Joe); step-children, Lynn and Steve Pace; Pam and Laura Klein; Susan and Marc Seymour; and Connie and Bill Smith; two sisters, Lois A. Davidson and Ruby Ellen Raines; brother, Ralph Jack Quinn; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Friday, August 5, 2011 in the Kirby Memorial Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home.
