Robert ìDougî Douglas Qualls, 46, of Hendersonville died Friday, December 21, 2012 at Park Ridge Hospital following a brief illness.

He was the son of the late Charles Qualls. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Alan Qualls and a daughter, Tiffany Ann Qualls.

He had a big heart and always enjoyed helping people. He worked many years as a cook for several local nursing homes and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his mother, Ann Qualls; his wife, Paulette Qualls; a sister, Debra Ann Keeter all of Hendersonville; two brothers, Michael Qualls of Etowah and Charles Qualls of Hendersonville; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 28, 2012 at the Kirby Memorial Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the funeral home.
