Robert ìTuftî Dalton, 59, of Hendersonville, NC, died Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at his home.

A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, NC, he was the son of the late Marion Dalton and Harriett Freeman Dalton. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Frank Marion Dalton and John J. Dalton.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary Dalton Vazquez; granddaughters, Brittney Davila and Ulanda Martinez, all of Hendersonville; and his sister, Katie Hercik of Georgia.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, August 23, 2008, at Connor Family Cemetery in Bat Cave. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the graveside.
