Ronald Lynn Springer, 75 of Ellenton, Fla went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 19, 2017.  Ron was born November 17, 1941 to the late Bud (Clarence) and Helen Springer.  He was married 56 years to the love of his life, Judy Springer on February 27, 1961 in Jonesboro, Indiana.  She survives.

Along with his wife Judy, Ron is survived by his 2 sons, Todd (Kim) Springer of Sarasota, Fla., and Troy (Miriam) Springer of Tulsa, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Megan (Tim), Anthony, Jacob, Christine, Rebekah, Sarah, and Levi; and two great-grandchildren Olivia and Lincoln.  He is also survived by two sisters Sharon (Dave) Baker of Galveston, Indiana and Linda (Dale) Keisling of Ellenton, Fla.; two brothers Vern (Vicky) Springer of Parrish, Fla. And Jeff Springer of Bradenton, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

Ron was a 1959 graduate of Kokomo High School.  He owned Springer and Walter Insurance Agency in Kokomo for many years.  In 1989 he moved to Florida and owned and operated seven Laundromats, retiring in 2011.

Ron was an avid golfer.  He never knew a stranger and will always be remembered by his quick wit and infectious smile and sweet spirit.  He loved his family dearly, but mostly his Savior, Jesus Christ.

Services will be held at Noon on Monday, July 24, 2017 in the Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home, with Pastor Miriam Springer officiating.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Encouraging Word, First Baptist Church, 250 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306.

    Todd and Troy, I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers as you travel through this valley of grief. May the Lord grant you grace, peace, mercy, and strength in abundance in the days and months ahead. Todd, I don't know if you know this or not, but we lost my brother, Matt, 3 years ago. He died one day before his 53rd birthday of a heart attack. I wrote several devotions about things the Lord showed me and how He helped me through that time of such grief.
