Ronald W. Robidoux, Sr. of Mountain Home died unexpectedly Monday, January 27, 2014 at his home.

A native of Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Victoria and Joseph Robidoux. He is also preceded in death by five siblings, Arthur Robidoux, Ray Robidoux, Rita OíBrian, Anita Gallant, and Teresa Broman; and a daughter Christie Robidoux.

Ronald was a US Army veteran. He has lived in Hendersonville for more than 40 years, and enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Robidoux of Mountain Home; six children, Dennis Robidoux and his wife Teresa of Jefferson City, TN, Lynn Wood and her husband Tim of Hendersonville, NC, Ronnie Robidoux of Canton, NC, Scott Robidoux and his wife Michele of Columbia, SC, Kevin Robidoux of Asheville, NC; and Lori Jones of Fletcher, NC; nine grandchildren, Meegan Bruce and her husband Joey of Jefferson City, TN, Ashley Hart and her husband Kelly of Asheville, NC, Alicia Wood of Hendersonville, NC, Lauren Jones and Aubree Baynard both of Fletcher, NC, Ryan Robidoux and Bryce Robidoux both of Columbia, SC, Coley Ray and Ally Ray both of Canton, NC; and two great-grandchildren, Kylee Bruce and Tenlee Bruce both of Jefferson City, TN.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 31, 2014 at the Kirby Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Shepherd Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the funeral home.
