Ruth C. Williams, 83 of Hendersonville, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 24, 2010 at The Laurels of Hendersonville.

Born in Spartanburg, SC she had been a resident of Henderson County for over 50 years.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Infant, Jerry Dean Williams and Boyce Lee Williams in 1999; and a granddaughter Lisa Ann Kilpatrick in 1988.

She was a member of Mud Creek Baptist Church and worked for several different textile plants over the years. Upon her retirement she enjoyed gardening. She was also an avid quilter and loved to give her quilts to her family and friends.

Surviving are her sons Jackie P. Williams of Rossville, Georgia, Daniel C. Williams of Inman, SC and Larry E. Williams of Rossville, Georgia; one daughter Martha Ann Adams of Fletcher; one sister Irene Edwards; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
