Sallie Kate McCall Dill, 83, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 20, 2015, at her residence. She was the beloved wife of David Leon Dill. They shared 57 blessed years of marriage this past October.

Born in Brevard, NC she was the daughter of the late Jess C.L. McCall & Mary Louise Scruggs McCall. She served as a caregiver for her mother over 20 years and a homemaker for her cherished family. She will be remembered for her loving nature and nurturing presence and was precious to all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, David Leon Dill; five children David Terry Dill & wife Mary of Hendersonville, Donald Kerry Dill of Hendersonville, Daniel Gregory Dill & wife Valoree of Hendersonville, Deborah Dill Eubanks & husband James of Columbus, Dwayne Scott Dill & wife Pam of Anderson; seven grandchildren Gregory Daniel Dill, Kristi Lee Allen & husband Shane, Michelle Valoree Tulley, Jessie Eubanks McReynolds & husband Ian, Ashley Faith Dill, Noah Scott Dill, Heath Christian Dill; and four great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Dill, Destiny Allen, Tyler Allen, and Kaya Tulley. She is also survived by five brothers Fredrick McCall & wife Ann, James McCall and wife Phyllis, Charlie McCall, Harvey McCall & wife Sarah, and Carroll McCall & wife Sue and various nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her sister Shirley Ann Taylor.

Funeral service will be held 2 PM Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 111 Washington St, Hendersonville, NC.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene.

    Very sad to hear of Aunt Sallie's passing. She was a wonderful person and full of laughter. I remember the times of going over to her house and she seemed to be always cooking. She was a great person and will be missed by many.
