Sandra Mary Houle (Bocchini) of Hendersonville, NC, and formerly of Pawtucket and Warwick, RI, Orlando and Palm Beach, FL transitioned peacefully Monday, March 11th in Flat Rock, NC.
Sandra was born September 30, 1943 in Central Falls, RI to the late Sandrina D’Agostino and Andrew Bocchini. Sandra is survived by her chosen daughter, Amy Diethelm (Michael) and granddaughter, Olivia, along with countless friends.
Sandra joyfully attended both the Unity Center of Blue Ridge and Namaste Center of Flat Rock. Sandra was a friend, daughter, mentor, delegate of peace and spiritual being who possessed a strong faith in God.
Sandra’s career encompassed a few professions, most notably her 35-year career with Coty Cosmetics as an accomplished makeup artist, trainer, and sales person. Her creative talents are immeasurable and passions numerous with particular interests in art, music, travel, fashion, spiritual endeavors and people.
“Today is a gift, that is why it is called the present” was Sandra’s motto. She believed this to her core and lived every day in the color and music of life.
Sandra would most like to be remembered for her compassion. This world is a far better place because she was here. Godspeed and love…
A celebration of Sandra’s life for close friends will take place at a later date.
Memorials may be offered in memory of Sandra to Doctors without Borders, Palm Beach Atlantic Music Department, FINCA International, Mercy Corps, or Women for Women International.
