Oh, how we will miss her! Few people in this world make others feel so good about themselves. She had a gift. Terry Lydon - my traveling buddy from 40 years ago - sends his very best.

One of the nicest people I've ever known. She made me feel so welcome when I moved to Lenoir. I'll never forget her warmth and kindness -- or her.

    John Coffey says:
I was saddened to hear of Sarah's passing. She was my very first piano teacher, and she taught me so much, and managed to kindle in me the fire to become a pianist myself. Today, after all these years of study and a Master of Music degree from Juilliard, I am proud to have known her and studied with her. She shall not be forgotten by me, as long as I am living!

I took piano from Ms Parker for 3 years in Lenoir, and am saddened to hear of her passing. She was an excellent teacher and genuinely nice person. I know she will be missed.
