Sherry Dee Osteen, 50, of Hendersonville, died Friday, November 8, at Mission Hospital. The daughter of the late Troy Osteen and Betty Drake Osteen of Hendersonville, she had lived most of her life in Henderson County. She was of the Baptist faith and loved fishing and four-wheeling in her Jeep.

Sherry is survived, in addition to her mother, by her daughter, Stevie Williams of Hendersonville; her lifelong friend, Eddie Huggins of Hendersonville; two brothers, Ed Osteen, his wife Pamela and their children Matthew, Danielle, Briana and China and Lee Osteen and his children Richard and Logan.

A funeral will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, November 10, at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Revs. James Maybin and Billy Lewis will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends for 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. At other times they will be at the home of Eddie Huggins.
