Susan Paxton Worrell, 64, of Dana passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Pardee Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Maurice and Lucielle Paxton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Orivelle Worrell and a brother, Robert Paxton.

Susan was a graduate of Western Carolina University with a B.S. in nursing. She was employed for many years with Mission Hospital as a Registered Nurse and in her free time she enjoyed crafts.

She is survived by her daughter, Molly Worrell; step-sons, Danny, David and Bobby Worrell; sisters-in-law, Marquetta Adkins and Donna Paxton; nephew, Damian Paxton; niece, Caroline Short; friends, Vicki Revill, Robin Pridmore, Beryl Turner, Gail Beddingfield, Marge Sheppard and Vicki Galloway, Molly’s Godmother.
