Sylvester Kenneth Romano

Sylvester Kenneth Romano, 67 of Hendersonville, died Saturday, October 16, 2010. A native of Newark, New Jersey, he was a longtime resident of Naples, Florida prior to moving to Hendersonville in 1989.

A stonemason for over 50 years, he was a Foreman with the Bricklayers Association for 45 years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.

Surviving is his wife Marlene Romano; two sons Vincent Romano and Kenneth Romano, Jr. both of Ft. Myers, Florida; two step-children Karen Joy Spannagel and William Spannagel; five grandchildren; and his siblings Joan, Charlie, and Joe Romano, all of New Jersey.

Private family services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of the donorís choice.
