Terry Bell, 61 of Flat Rock, died Sunday, May 29, 2011 at The Elizabeth House. A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, he was a son of the late Jennings and Ruby Bell.

A graduate of West Henderson High School, he retired from Berkley Mills where he was a machinist for 35 years.

He was a member of Crooked Creek Golf Club and was also an avid baseball player. He was active in many Henderson County Youth sports including former president of both the Babe Ruth Baseball Association and West Henderson Youth Football.

Surviving is his wife, Patsy Brittain Bell; two sons Danny Bell of Fletcher and Chad Bell of Hendersonville; one daughter Jennifer Taylor of Bowling Green, KY; two step-daughters Paula Williams and Amy Williams; three grandsons; and a sister Trisha Phillips of Hendersonville.

A celebration of Terryís life will be held at 6:00pm on Wednesday, June 1 in the Kirby Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home.
