She was active in the First Presbyterian Church, Roanoke Rapids, as pianist and Sunday School leader. Her family then relocated to Hendersonville, NC. where she brought her teaching and musical talents to First Presbyterian Church, Hendersonville.
Thommy loved to read mystery novels, play her piano, and spend time with her grandsons Sam and Liam French whom she adored. She wore out many pairs of athletic shoes on the streets of Tamarac walking with her dear friend Norma and husband Charlie.
It was her lifetime commitment that all are created equally in God’s image and equally loved by Him.
She is survived by her husband Charles G. Snead, daughters Bethany Denise Snead and Laura Snead French, brother Evander “Van” Rowell, son-in-law David French and her pride and joy grandsons, Samuel Charles and Liam Gabriel French.
