    Jim Knight says:
Carol - you no doubt don't remember me, but we spoke by phone once when I called for Tim when you were in LaPorte. He and I were close friends and teammates in high school, and I have a wealth of memories of wonderfully fun times with Tim. I'm so sorry to hear of his death, and I'm so sorry for your loss and for what I know from personal experience will be terribly difficult times ahead for you. Mr. and Mrs. Carlson, Terry, Tom, Lynne, and Todd - you are all in my thoughts. The times I spent with Tim and the many hours spent at your house in West Union will always be great memories. May you all find peace. Jim

    Jan Grove Johnson says:
Dear Carlson family, I only knew Tim for one year during our senior year in North High School. He was always a fun guy to be around. I remember that after my family moved to Des Moines, Tim drove down to spend the day with me once. It was really nice to spend time with someone who I considered a good friend. Unfortunately I lost touch with many of the West Union people after moving to Colorado in 1971. I am so sorry to learn that Tim had been battling cancer. I know you are all missing him and I pray that God will give your hearts a peaceful grace in your loss. Very sincerely, Jan Grove Johnson
