Victor Max Williams, 89 of Hendersonville passed away on December 18, 2009. He was born in Cornell, Illinois on February 10, 1920 to Sterling and Josephine Williams.

He leaves his wife, Marie Kutch Williams formerly of Pocatella, Idaho; three children; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

    Grandpa made a powerful impact with me in my visits to Boca in my formative years. He told me to pick up golf and invest, both great advice. I still smoke a cigar once in a while and think of him, and brag on how he was a pilot and NJ mayor. He was the first successful man that I had met and inspired my own success. I will miss his booming voice, laughter, and that smirk.

    I will forever miss you grandpa! Grandma you are in my prayers along with everyone else. The best thing I remember is visiting grandpa and grandma and oh so early in the morning we would be up while everyone else slept and we would share a nice hot cup of coco for me and coffee for him and a bowl of fruit that grandma had made the day before and we would just sit there and drink and eat and read the paper together. I will miss you! Love to everyone through this hard time.
