Wayne Alton Craig, 81, of Hendersonville went to his heavenly home Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Elizabeth House. A native of Widnoon, PA, he lived in Henderson County the last nineteen years. He was a retired high school teacher from Lenape-Vo-Tech. He loved bowling, golf, hunting and all outdoor activities. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, a lifetime member of the V.F.W., and an active member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-two years, Cynthia ìCyndyî Craig; a son, Terry Craig of Kittanning; a grandson, Michael Craig and his wife Kelly of Kittanning, PA; four great-grandchildren, Drake, Morgan, Luke, and Noah.

    I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of having Mr Craig as a teacher at Lenape Vo-Tech and also he would come into Pepplers Gun Shop where I worked while still in school. I have nothing but good memories.
