Wilma Jones, 88, of Hendersonville went home to be with the Lord in her sleep on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at her residence. A native of Greeneville, TN, she was raised in Chattanooga, TN and has been a resident of Henderson County for the past 47 years. She was the wife of the late Henry W. Joan Peterson, Orlando FL says:
I remember sitting with Ms. Wilma in choir for many years as a teenager and college student. I have wonderful memories of The Messiah production. She was so beautiful, both inside and out. She and Henry were the most gorgeous couple! Praying for you all. I wish I wasn’t so far away or I would be there for her service.

    Sarah Holmes & Family says:
I am so sorry to hear about Wilma. Even though I met her later in her life, I feel like I knew everything about her through the conversations with her sister Margaret and the wonderful and funny stories Wilma and Margaret would tell as they sat at the table on her visits to Georgia. Wilma was a beautiful lady inside and out and I know she is rejoicing Heaven as we speak with Henry and Margaret. My daughters also send their deepest sympathies.

Wilma was always gracious. We worked at the bank together years ago and it was always great to see her throughout the years.
