Winona Gloria Hunt, age 86, died on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the Elizabeth House. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 yrs., Richard W. Hunt and son, Thomas Glann. Those left to cherish her memory include sister, Joy Hamon (Rich) of Williamsburg, Va.; children, Kristine Glann of Ann Arbor, Mi., Randalle Moore (Patrick) of Alexandria, La. and Richard Hunt of Vientiane, Laos; grandchildren, Travis Moore (Kelly) of Baton Rouge, La., Hannah Hollier (James) of Birmingham, Al. and Nathan Hunt of Livermore Ca.; great-grandchildren, Luke & Sadie Moore and Iris Hollier, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Win was born Sept. 23, 1931 in Camden N.J. to Stanley and Frances Chadwick. She grew up in Collingswood, NJ, attending Sharp School and Collingswood H.S. Win worked in banking and then in the collectibles business in her later working years. She taught sewing for Singer, worked in several fabric stores and was a past member of the Happy Hookers at Lake Pointe Landing. She had a talent for color, harmony and texture, creating many amazing quilts, sewing and knitting projects. She will be missed by all her family and friends.

A Celebration of her Life service will be held at 10am Friday, August 31, 2018 in Our Lady of the Angels Chapel at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church with visitation immediately following. She will be buried with her husband at Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC.
