After graduating from Goodwin University of East Hartford, Connecticut, Fawn joined the Forest Lawn and Shuler Funeral Home team. She grew up in the Birdtown (Tsi-sgwo-hi) Community of the Qualla Boundary but currently resides in the North Asheville area. Fawn and her son, Zephyr, are enrolled members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. In 2014, after the life-changing experience of losing her grandfather, Fawn decided to pursue an education and ultimately a career in the funeral industry. It is her intention to provide compassion and care to those who need it most. Fawn’s free time is spent with her son, and their cat Mortimer, also visiting home to see family and friends. In addition, she enjoys hiking, reading, and browsing for antiques.
